李白 長干行

李白的〈長干行〉在1915年被美國詩人龐德翻譯成英文，叫作〈河商的妻子：一封信〉（“The River-Merchant's Wife : A Letter”），不少華人批評這首詩被他翻得太樸實，但不知道的是，因他的詮釋，已經感動了無數的西方人。 像我認識的一位英國心理學教授，念過這首詩（英文版）給我聽好幾次，每次念到最後，特別在末句的「相迎不道遠，直至長風沙」，他自然落下淚來。我問他為什麼這麼感動，他回說： 　　　　　這女孩知道走到長風沙，不會再走遠。 我一臉茫然。我們通常會覺得愛到海枯石爛才會感動人，不是嗎？怎麼這如此實際的河商妻子會感動他呢？ 整首詩在描繪一個女孩的心路歷程，從青梅竹馬，結婚，到婚後，丈夫出遠門做生意；之後，我才了解此詩的珍貴性，這位女孩雖年紀輕輕，已懂得什麼是情，什麼是愛，她以成熟的態度來面對，她深愛著丈夫，但重要的是，她還保有自己。 所謂女人的價值就是這樣：真心的付出，但又不失去自我。 李白 長干行 妾髮初覆額 折花門前劇 郎騎竹馬來 遶床弄青梅 同居長干里 兩小無嫌猜 十四為君婦 羞顏未嘗開 低頭向暗壁 千喚不一回 十五始展眉 願同塵與灰 常存抱柱信 豈上望夫臺 十六君遠行 瞿塘灩澦堆 五月不可觸 猿鳴天上哀 門前遲行跡 一一生綠苔 苔深不能掃 落葉秋風早 八月蝴蝶來 雙飛西園草 感此傷妾心 坐愁紅顏老 早晚下三巴 預將書報家 相迎不道遠 直至長風沙 The River-Merchant's Wife: A Letter
